RCS has an immediate need for a Junior Engineering Recruiter. This is a full-time, contract assignment to potential permanent hire. Our client is seeking an outgoing, self-motivated individual looking for a company where they can continue to grow their skill set! The position will begin temporarily remote. RCS offers a competitive salary and an excellent benefits package.

Overview

As a Recruiter, you will play a critical role in shaping our company growth mindset and furthering how our customers change the way they use energy. You will be entrusted with promoting our Talent Strategy through expanded channels attracting and screening top candidates to support business needs. Through innovative systems and resources, you will source, screen, select, onboard, and deploy talent to drive business strategy.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and drive full talent acquisition life cycle – selection process, workflow, roles/responsibilities, and executing on the Talent strategy to meet hiring goals and drive business growth.

  • Proactively engage with Hiring Managers to understand business needs and job requirements to confirm the talent profile and associated job description.

  • Build strong, credible consultative relationships with Hiring Managers and prospects.

  • Assist people managers with screening and interviewing functions, resulting in the hiring selection.

  • Actively promote an inclusive hiring strategy to drive diversity and equality into the organization.

  • Utilize recruitment tools (ATS, social networking platforms, employee referral program) to source, screen, and present a slate of qualified internal and external candidates to the Hiring Manager.

  • Proactively develop innovative sourcing strategies for key roles.

  • Manage candidate experience, sustaining regular communication methods resulting in a best in class experience for all candidates.

  • Assist with the rollout of new tools and processes through the creation and delivery of standard operating procedures, workflow, and job aids.

  • Consult with the hiring manager to determine which candidates will progress with formal interviews.

  • Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation, enforcing regulations with managers, recommending new procedures, and conducting coaching.

 

Minimum Requirements

  • 1 year of exempt and non-exempt recruiting experience in full life-cycle environment, including management of multiple high-volume roles simultaneously

  • Staffing/Agency experience a plus

  • Engineering Recruitment experience a plus

  • Phone, Microsoft Teams, and online meeting platform skills

  • Experience supporting inclusive hiring practices and workplace diversity

  • Familiarity with relevant employment law

  • Professionalism, organization and project management skills
