RCS Corporation has an immediate need for a Lead Project Engineer in Denver, CO. This is an onsite position, remote work is not an option. This position is a Direct Hire position.

Job Description – Specific Duties Include:
- Responsible for sizing, designing and furnishing engineering drawings which meet specifications
- Work directly under the engineering manager and with project managers
- Provide on time design, development, and release of drawings and specifications for equipment.
- Responsible for the team schedule and meeting the deadlines
- Make or Verify design calculations and checking designs for accuracy of manufacture and ease of serviceability
- Resolving design problems
- Manage other Engineers and drafter, help them during the design layout and detailing phase
- Responsible for decision making to accomplish responsibilities within the scope of the position description, company policies, and budgetary restriction.
- Responsible for production drawing work efforts to develop a comprehensive set of layout, assembly, and process drawings.
- Redact project or equipment specifications
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally if required
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in mechanical, thermal, ceramic or structural engineering is required
- At least 2 years of experience as a Project or lead Engineer and at least 1 year of experience managing other engineers or contractors
- Demonstrable successful experiences with:
- P&IDs and PFDs
- Mechanical design of structure such as platforms or buildings
- Sizing and design of ductwork / piping for different mediums (air, gas, water, …)
- FEA
- Be proficient with the following softwares:
- Autocad
- Solidworks (main design software)
- Finite Elements Analysis (FEA)
- Microsoft office (mainly Excel and Word)
- Some knowledge with VBA
- Have a good understanding of the core engineering concepts including, thermodynamics, kinematics, structural analysis and general electricity design
- The candidate must also feel comfortable in working in a multinational and multi-cultural environment as our customers are from all over the world. Speaking several languages will be a plus
- Have good communication with team workers and management
- Must be well organized in their daily tasks
- Be creative and able to develop new designs or improve existing ones
- Capable of creating, improving standards, drawing list, bill of materials
