RCS Corporation has an immediate need for a Principal Engineer, Water & Municaplities to support our client based in Central FL area. This is a direct hire opportunity. This individual would ideally have specialty expertise in water/wastewater collection, storage and treatment facilities, water and sewer system modeling and master planning for local municipalities.

Responsibilities
- Develop detailed designs, plans, specifications, reports and cost estimates for treatment plants, pipelines, pump stations, tanks and other water / wastewater storage and conveyance systems
- More specific responsibilities include performing or managing engineering/process design, hydraulic analysis, pumping system design, and treatment process project design
- Ability to coordinate with the multiple departments and sub-consultants required for multi-discipline projects
- Ability to create, calibrate, modify, and perform hydraulic modeling for water and wastewater systems, and interpret and communicate the results to others
- Depending on candidate experience, you will manage and work on a variety of water/wastewater projects including but not limited to water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, water transmission and distribution systems, wastewater collection and transmission systems
- Perform business development duties with current and potential clients
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Engineer) or appropriate technical degree or related experience
- Registration as a professional engineer
- Minimum of 10-15+ years of work experience (with local water municipalities)
- Experience design of water/wastewater treatment projects as well pipeline design, pump stations, and/or experience performing water distribution and wastewater modeling
- Collaborative approach to problem solving
- Requires exceptional verbal and written communication skills and regular interaction with assigned project clients and partners (both internal and external to the company)
- Ability to build relationships with clients and staff members
- Ability to work autonomously
- Fostering industry contacts and knowledge of the industry (Water Municipalities)
