RCS Corporation has an immediate need for Project Controls Cost Analyst in Spring City, TN. This is a contract position with the potential to roll direct. Non-local candidates may qualify for per-diem.

Primary Responsibilities

 

 

  • Participates in the development and maintenance of work breakdown structures (WBS) in regard to cost and schedule development and control.

  • Prepares and updates project schedule, and provides schedule analysis. 

  • Leads baseline cost development and maintenance effort. Validates baseline information. 

  • Knowledgeable in KPI's and construction metrics and trends. 

  • Identifies and assists in analysis of schedule variances and recommends associated corrective actions. 

  • Measures progress and reviews performance trends. 

  • Supports in tracking subcontractor performance. 

  • Supports change management process. 

  • Supports various levels of project reporting (including daily, weekly, and monthly). 

  • Conducts or assists in performance measurement and associated trends.  

  • Leads the preparation of various levels of project reports to meet project needs. 

  • Leads project cost review meetings. 

  • Leads in cost and schedule updating and analysis.

  • Ensures that project coding is effectively used for all cornerstone applications.

  • Proficient in scope control, change management and earned value methodology, commitments, and forecasting costs and manhours.

  • ???????Supports in tracking subcontractor performance

  • Updates and produces cost management reports.

  • Reviews purchase orders and subcontract schedule status and provides management with input on subcontract performance.

  • Identifies and analyzes cost variances and recommends associated corrective actions.

  • Reviews and approves output from cost systems.

  • Performs Cost Analysis and Forecasting.

  • Measures progress and reviews invoices of contractors and participates in approving reported progress.

Minimum Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience OR demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Possesses strong computer skills in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Possesses an understanding of Earned Value, Cost Forecasting, and Reporting.

  • Familiar with basic planning and scheduling as it relates to cost forecasting. 

  • Familiar with scope control and change management. 

  • Able to identify and investigate projected cost variances.

  • Experience with Prism or other cost management systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Nuclear experience preferred.

  • TVA experience preferred.

  • Experience with Primavera P6???????
