We are even more honored to be able to announce this achievement today, which is a significant date for RCS.
September 12, 1968
RCS’ Founder and Cuban immigrant, Carlos Garcia, stepped foot on American soil with his family, filled with the hope and excitement of living out the American dream.
Fast forward to today – 56 years later – and Carlos’ daughter, Lauren Piosa, has taken the reigns of the now 30-year-old company he went on to create. The company he and his wife, Karen Garcia, successfully built and grew over the last three decades.
“It’s an honor to be carrying on my father’s legacy,” said Lauren Piosa, President of RCS Staffing. “America gave my father the gift of opportunity, and he gave back by creating job opportunities for so many across the country. RCS’s 30-year tenure is a testament to not only his hard work and perseverance, but his dedication to the American Dream.”

Lauren Piosa remembers spending many days at the office with her parents while they were busy writing proposals, talking to clients, screening candidates, delivering paper paychecks to employees. “I would play on the white boards, pretend to lecture a class in the conference room, photocopy my handprints on the copy machine, organize the supply closet and the kitchenette, even vacuum the carpets,” she reminisces.
